DSPA is headed by a team of pharmaceutical executives with an entrepreneurial focus on growth, results and excellence. Collectively the management team has an established track record for success, which includes developing novel and several first-in-class therapies; rapid growth and expansion over a short period of time; and successful collaboration with our research and development partners. The DSPA Executive Leadership Team (ELT) includes:

Nobuhiko Tamura, President of Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc., a subsidiary of Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd. Mr. Tamura oversees all strategic initiatives as well as operations within the U.S.

John Guarino Ph.D, Vice President of Product Development, is responsible for all early development projects and oversees Clinical Pharmacology, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Biostatistics, Drug Safety, and Data Management.

Bob Gregorio, Vice President of Operations, oversees various departments including Finance & Accounting, Contracts, Human Resources, Project Management and Site and Facilities Management.
